Amanda Seyfried // Dear John Inspired Makeup Look

I recently re-watched Dear John and (between trying not to cry and re-filling my glass with the cheapest rosé I could find) was reminded of how amazingly stunning/flawless Amanda Seyfried is. I loved the makeup that she wore throughout the movie; light, feminine, yet still noticeable enought to accentuate her eyes.

So I decided to see if I could try to re-create her look and share how I did it with you guys! While I don't look quite as fabulous as Miss Seyfried (sigh), I'm quite happy with the result and feel that it's pretty close to how it looked in the movie.

The Tools

From left to right:
All-In-One BB Cream in 00 (The Body Shop)
Select Moisture Cover in NW20 (MAC)
Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in N3 (MAC)
Brush on Bronze (The Body Shop)
Eyebrow Cake Powder in dark brown (NYX)
Clear Brow Gel (Anastasia Beverly Hills)
Long-Wear Eyeliner (Noir Cosmetics)
Deep Throat Blush (NARS)
High Beam Face Highlighter (benefit)
Colour Crush Eye Shadows in black and light purple/grey (The Body Shop)
High Definition Eye Shadow Base (NYX)
Perversion Mascara (Urban Decay)
Basically all I did for this look was even out my skin with the BB cream, concealer, and foundation; fill in and set my brows; apply the light purple/grey color to the outer corners of my eyes; lightly line the top-outer parts of my eyes with the black eyeshadow; and finish up with mascara, bronzer, blush, and highlighter. I found this look very quick and easy to apply, so it would be great for beginners or those looking to get ready (but still look cute) in a hurry.
If you would like a more in-depth tutorial on how to re-create this look, please let me know and I will think about possibly posting a video. :)
